6.1. What does ONA Surveys do with the data or emails that is collected?

We will not use the information collected from your surveys in any way, shape, or form. In addition, any other material you provide us will be held in the strictest confidence.
We do not collect personally identifiable information about you except when you specifically provide this information on a voluntary basis. We will make every effort to ensure that whatever information you provide will be maintained in a secure environment. However, even if you opt out of receiving any communications from ONA Surveys, we reserve the right to contact you regarding your account status or any other matter that might affect our service to you and/or our records on you.

From time to time our customers are interested in providing their anonymised data for benchmarking purposes. We have our own benchmarking from projects we have conducted on our own behalf and where appropriate, offer customers the opportunity to add their data to this database for comparative reasons. In these cases we ask customers to send us export files that they have anonymised. We do not directly access data from ONA Surveys for these purposes.

6.2. Information Collection

You may view some areas of our site for free and register for a free account. We collect information such as your name, address, email. We use this information to contact you about the services on our site in which you have expressed interest. We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you. We will not use the information collected from your surveys in any way, shape, or form. In addition, any other material you provide us (including images, email addresses, etc.) will be held in the strictest confidence. We do not collect payment information from you such as credit card details. All payment information is processed by Paypal.

6.3. Log Files

As is true of most web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users's movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.

6.4. Cookies

"Cookies" are small text files a website can used to identify users. ONA Surveys uses temporary cookies to track a visitor's session. Since only temporary cookies are used your browser will forget them once it has been shut down.

6.5 Communications from the Site

We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account. Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we will send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. We will communicate with you by email or telephone, in accordance with your wishes. We also send survey invitation emails on behalf of our customers as a part of the core functioning of ONA Surveys. The customer's email list is stored on our system, but is not used by ONA Surveys in any other way. The emails sent on our customer's behalf appear to come from the customer's email address. We may post testimonials from time to time. We always receive permission to post prior to posting.

6.6. Links to Other Sites

This Web site contains links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by ONA Surveys. Please be aware that we, ONA Surveys, are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies only to information collected by this Web site.

6.7. Access to Personally Identifiable Information

If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, delete or deactivate it by emailing our Customer Support at support@onasurveys.com and we will respond to any request for access within 30 days.

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.
